Charito Solis as Paula and Lolita Rodriguez as Candida, together in a play written by Nick Joachin entitled Larawan in 1979. The play was directed by Lino Brocka and on the same year the two versatile actresses made a film Ina, Kapatid, Anak which was again directed by Lino Brocka. Charito Solis was described as Fire and Lolita Rodriguez as ice in terms of their acting prowess.

Other memorable movies like El Filibusterismo, Rose Tattoo Ng Buhay Ko, P10,000 Pag-ibig, Kisapmata, Juan Tamad Goes to Society and Walang Sugat were also featured in the souvenir program.

But they also starred in several LVN and Dalisay movies, among them Jikiri (1962)
with Pancho playing a Muslim warrior and Charito, his love interest.

It was in Krisalis (1957) that Charito experienced her first box-office hit. In theme, Krisalis was a variation of the classic Cinderella story and Charito's leading man was Nestor de Villa
