Bigshot (1956) marked the beginning of
Nestor-Charito tandem.
After Bigshot, they have done Krisalis (1957),
Villa Milagrosa (1958), Ang Langit Ko'y Ikaw (1959), Kung Ako'y Mahal Mo
1960), Dahlia (1960), Unos Sa Laot
(1960), Ang Bukas Ay Akin (1963), Madugong Daigdig ni Aurora (1963) and
Ginintuang Ani (1964).
This lasted for 7 years until they rekindled
their loveteam in 1982 movie Cross My Heart with Sharon Cuneta and Rowell Santiago.
