Init (1979)

Charito Solis in her mid 40's still proved to be lustrous in her role as Osa, a woman who fell for a younger man played by Philip Salvador in a movie directed by Lino Brocka entitled Init in 1979.

Larawan (1979)

Charito Solis as Paula and Lolita Rodriguez as Candida, together in a play written by Nick Joachin entitled Larawan in 1979. The play was directed by Lino Brocka and on the same year the two versatile actresses made a film Ina, Kapatid, Anak which was again directed by Lino Brocka. Charito Solis was described as Fire and Lolita Rodriguez as ice in terms of their acting prowess.

Trivia - Original Titles

Did you know that before "The Princess and I" and "Ina, Kapatid, Anak" were used as titles of ABS-CBN teleseryes they were originally titles of the movies of Ms Charito Solis? The Princess and I was actually a Japanese film made in 1962 while Ina, Kapatid, Anak was produced by Regal films in 1979.
