In 1960, Charito Solis appeared in a satirical comedy movie Juan Tamad Goes To Society (LVN Pictures) with National Artist Manuel Conde, who also directed the movie.

Ms Charito Solis is the only actress who has been directed by six (6) Philippine National Artist Awadees namely Lamberto Avellana, Gerardo De Leon, Eddie Romero, Manuel Conde , Ishmael Bernal and Lino Brocka. 

PS: Hopefully, Ms Charito Solis will be named National Artist of the Philippines for her great contibutions, recognitions and dedication to the Philippine Cinema.
