Trivia: Krisalis (1957)



Charito's star rose in LVN as Dona Sisang gave her all the leading roles with all the well known actors and directors of the time. It was in Krisalis (1957) that Charito experienced her first box-office hit. In theme, Krisalis was a variation of the classic Cinderella story and Charito's leading man was Nestor de Villa

Constantino, and LVN's Drama Queen Charito Solis. And that Ms Solis would regularly seek advice to her specially regarding matters of the heart

Ms Charito Solis won her first Famas Best Actress for the movie, Kundiman Ng Lahi (1959) directed by Lamberto Avellana.
